In collaboration with Julia Kim , Third Chamber took place at the Cooper Unioin Foundation Building, 7 e 7th St. Room 610, March 26 – 31, 2024
This installation occupied the entirity of the room, where two mesh walls created three spaces for the viewers to navigate.
The entrance,–or first chamber– consisted of a listening space with a low, wooden bench and two speakers reproducing two different sound channels.
A narrow, transitional space lied between two mesh walls, leading to the third and last space which revealed the source of the sound. A water dripping system that concluded in a steel basin where a hydrophone amplyfied the motion of water, and a light reader that reacted to cellphones and interior lighting, as well as the natural light coming from the windows.
