Natalia Salas Porras Legarreta
Natalia Salas Porras Legarreta (b. 2001) is a Mexican-American artist whose practice engages with landscape as a site of transformation, extraction, conflict, and memory. Raised Chihuahua, Mexico, she moved to New York to study at The Cooper Union, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and a minor in Art History in 2024. Her practice traverses painting, photography, installation, metalwork, lighting design, and sculptural processes, mobilizing these mediums to metabolize her lived experience of the borderlands in relation to the contrasting urban environments she has inhabited.
